東京, pronounced Tokyo, is the capital of Japan. It possesses a mix of traditional and modern life that often surprises. Spots of interest include 六本木 (Roppongi), 銀座 (Ginza), 浅草 (Asakusa), 原宿 (Harajuku), and お台場 (Odaiba). 上野動物園 (Ueno zoo) is also worth a visit.
There are frequent flights from all over the world to 東京 (Tokyo). From 成田空港 (Narita airport), fast trains called 成田エクスプレス (Narita Express) can quickly and conveniently take you to 東京駅 (Tokyo station) but are much more expensive than standard trains.
Travel tips: Enjoy 上野動物園 (Ueno zoo). Wander in the street, you should see interesting statues.
Please check the photos of my visit in February 2007.
